I woke up feeling kind of okay in my skin today. And then I ate a frackin croissant with bacon and egg and arugula. Yea. That feeling lasted a whole 2 seconds. New personal record.

Okay so a couple people asked how I take my apple cider vinegar so here it is! I take it two ways. When I first started drinking it, I would use about 16 oz of water, 1.5-2 tablespoons of ACV, ½-1 teaspoon of cinnamon and honey to taste (maybe roughly a tablespoon because this stuff was no bueno at first and was hard to drink). With the honey, this really didn’t taste too bad. It was doable. Then, my mom and I tweaked it a bit. We started adding this ginger honey tea powder we have instead of the regular honey. The ginger is pretty strong in this tea so we used 2 teaspoons of it hoping it would overpower the acv haha. Its not the best but it was less calories than all the honey we were putting in before and we were able to force ourselves to like it.
ACV, Cinnamon, and Ginger are all supposed to help with weight loss/metabolism/appetite suppressant and apprently have a plethora of health benefits which is why we put it all in. The honey part is for hair and skin benefits and just to help us not gag on acv cause if you’ve ever smelled it… it smells like sweaty gym socks so buyer beware.
Now with good things also come bad things so let me just slip in this little disclaimer. While these ingredients are supposed to be good for your health, a lot of anything can be bad. I really suggest doing research on the ingredients because I’m no health professional and can’t possibly list them all. I do use them in small quantities and have done my own research and think that these doses will be fine for me as long as I dont keep it up forever but every body is different. Additionally, acv can be super harsh on some stomachs so maybe start off with a little and increase it bit by bit. And the honey reallyyyyy helps so I know its calories but honey is great for you and will help this go down a lot easier until you can do with less honey.
Finally, I’ve said this before a couple weeks ago but I’m just going to reiterate this disclaimer on cinnamon again for yall:
*Warning Note on Cinnamon* if you plan on incorporating cinnamon into your daily diet, make sure to purchase Ceylon Cinnamon (also referred to as “true” cinnamon). The other varieties, especially Saigon (costco cinnamon is Saigon cinnamon), have much larger amounts of coumarin which has been found to be dangerous in large doses. It can damage your liver and even cause liver failure so please pay attention to the type of cinnamon you are using! Those other forms are fine in small amounts but if you take a tsp or two every day like I do, it’s best to invest in Ceylon.
Sorry for such a long post. Just want yall educating yourselves before trying this even though its all “healthy” or “nutritious” food items. Im not a health professional and you all know your bodies better than anyone else so please please make educated decisions. Which is ironic coming from an ed blog, I know. But for someone with an ed, I actually pay a whole lot of attention to my nutrition and skincare…

Edit: check notes for any suggestions other people might have!!Sooo last week I ate a lot. Like 1000-1200 calories every day which I know is actually still not much but its just more than my restricted limit. I even binged hard on Saturday. BUT, I worked out extra hard and also got back on track with portions by Sunday and today I am so relieved to finally be a little lighter after having been stuck around 122/3 for a while.

Goal is to get out of the 120s by next week and hopefuly keep it for once. Also, my period started while I was at the gym today. I knew it was starting but its a day early and Im also confused because normally I gain weight before my period and lose it after but maybe this weight loss is me already losing my period pudge before it starts? Thats not usually what happens but okay, I guess. I hate my body.
Finally, Im having a weird obsession with perfectly thin anime now. As if being obsessed with actual human beings wasnt enough, my mind now urges me to achieve fictional beauty…

All my friends tuck their shirts into their jeans or their shorts or their skirts in a cutesy way. It’s just their aesthetic. I never really realized it but we took a group picture recently and they were all saying how cute it was but that I should’ve tucked my shirt in too instead of wearing it baggy like I always do. So I tried it and we took another picture. Sweet baby Buddha. I looked like an oompa loompa. All of them said that picture was so cute since we all were wearing a similar style of loose button up tucked into jeans/jean shorts. They were talking about squad goals or some shit and I’m standing there unable to get the image of my body out of my mind. They can pull off styles like that because they’re thin af. Dammit. Most of them weigh less than 100 pounds and I know it for a fact because I’m the one that took care of them during the school year and drove them to their yearly check ups and was basically their mom away from home.
They always call be beautiful and tell me I’m too thin and that I need to eat more, but I wonder if they realize that hearing that from such perfect little bodies, really doesn’t help. I know they mean well. I know they care. But, being around them is a stark reminder of how large I am in comparison. I’m the fat friend…
Can I please be thin enough to stop having my hair ties cut off my blood circulation while I sleep? I always have these marks on my wrist from hair ties and I’m getting real fed up with it.
